Morning all

Sat in the lounge at Gatwick watching the planes queue for a runway. It's been raining heavily, won't be sorry to swap for some sunshine. So far no delay showing on the board. We'll be 4 hours behind you when we land at 3.30pm - 7.30pm here.

It's the Day of Kings so a national holiday.

Don and I are going for a walk from Guadalmar playa to Benalmadena port ...a total of 16kms.

We'll have a pit stop for a refreshment.

Morning to the two Sunshine Girls

Morning everyone - it's still very windy here but it seems to have stopped raining Not sure what I'll be doing today, if anything, apart from lots of housework stuff! The hoovering and dusting got done after we took down the decs, but the bathrooms and kitchen need a going over, and the insides of the windows need a 'go' as the window cleaner is due this week. So that will keep me out of mischief I might have a walk if it doesn't rain, but it is forecast!

Becky is here until Wednesday, she has an exam on Thursday, then her work placement at the Zoo on Friday, but will be back after that as no lectures next week, just another exam on the following Thursday!

Have a good day everyone - the schools are back today and it's back to work for many, although Mick went back last Thursday, I know my son Chris is due back in his council IT job today. He checked his emails on Saturday just to see, and had over 300 needing action waiting for him!

Good morning everybody.
Been to the gym. Now waiting for the post office to open. Am having to return goods as the firm have sent the wrong ones even though the correct ones are shown on the invoice.They have said they will refund the postage.
Some clouds but I can see some blue sky. Wind has dropped and it is warmer.
Good luck to those going to warmer parts. We are off in February to the Caribbean.

The weather here is terrible, I took my recycling bin out at 745 and it was dry and cold, went out at 835 to take Amy to school and it started chucking down with rain and hasn't stopped - it is also very windy

So, Amy is back to school, missing her I popped to Tesco and got a few bits and picked up a pair of wellies for Amy, half price in the sale £5, bargain! Hope she likes them!

Not much planned for me, I am back to work on Wednesday so having a lazy day today and tomorrow

What a strange year it must have been for you Loz, glad you are feeling positive though xx

Morning all
Absolutely dreadful in the night, sounded like golf balls being hurled at the windows
Since about 8 it's gradually cleared, at the moment it's quite bright.
Bb's working nice and locally, but can't get his work to load so is waiting for the helpdesk before he can make a start.
I've an appointment which I can easily walk to, but will have to take the long way round rather than struggle through the mud!

Jen have a fabulous time, you've probably left by now.
Loz not exactly an anniversary to celebrate is it

Good afternoon all!

It's been quite sunny and mild all morning with the occasional heavy shower (like now) and it's very windy. Actually, as I look out of the window it's pouring down at the moment. I went to the gym and then walked Billy inbetween showers. The boys are back in school today, John was back to work last Thursday.

Remember my faulty Vax carpet shampooer? We returned it via UPS on the 23rd and they've delivered a new one this morning, quite surprised it was sorted so quickly with it all being over the holiday period.
