Morning everyone

Well, I think it's morning, but it's very black outside  oh and the Christmas smillies have gone  It's quite mild out there, but still damp from last nights rain.

Up and off early, to try and miss the worst of the traffic, as we're heading into Faro. Then shopping on the way back and also stop at Finances in Olhao to pay the car tax. bet that's gone up too

Hope you're all safe and dry over there and your day is a good one xx

Morning all! It's wet and dark out there, I'm just getting ready to go to the gym so I'll see how windy it is when I go outside. I need to nip into town after the gym as the boys have a few cheques that they were given for Christmas so I need to pay them into their accounts and withdraw the cash.

Have a good day everyone, and I hope no one's affected by the weather xx

Good morning. :D

Blue sky and some fluffy bits too but quite warm.

Done day 3 of my month of running..but only 6km as I was desperate for a pee and I don't do a Paula Radcliffe.

The smileys went last night Ton..I was sending a message and wanted a dancing lady but she'd danced off exit stage left.

Taking the tree down today..there's a lovely thick layer of dust under the Christmas cards!

No beers and tapas tonight as we're out Sat, Sun and Mon night.

Enjoy the day.

Good luck for Kaz and her tests. xxx

morning all,

Good luck Kaz, when I had my ECG the nurse took it along to a GP who said it was ok - and it was :) hopefully they can tell you today.

Well it looks very wet and quite windy today, Amy is still in bed and I have had some porridge and got a cup of tea.

I have someone from the council coming some time today between 8-2 :? to fit new smoke detectors, they have been trying to get it done for a few months but I am at work Monday - Friday, I get so annoyed, a lot of council staff seem to think if you live in a council house you must be at home every day, ggrrrr!! Anyway, thought I better get up incase he appears.

Later on we will pop to the shops as we ordered a t-shirt at Next for Amy, she was buying 2 with a gift card but had to order one in her size, then I will nip to jewellers up that way to get a few links taken out my new watch so I can wear it, and then pop to asda to get some fruit and weight watchers things ;)

Have a good day all

Poll xxx

Good morning . Some blue sky but plenty of grey skies so we may have some rain.
Hopefully we won't be flooded as our drive slopes down to the road which also slopes down to the main road. So the water would have to be several feet deep before wewould be affected.
Poll, we have two smoke detectors which I fitted. They have small lights in them which come on if the alarm sounds. Two screws hold them into the ceiling. I test mine every week.
Having a little party as it is mrs.e's birthday.
May go shopping tomorrow ifthe weather is not too bad.

Morning all

Kaz, good luck for today!
Happy Birthday Mrs E :D

a very wet start to the day today - thankfully the roads that I needed to drive along to get to the station are fine but sooooo many roads around are flooded and there's more to come still and there just isn't anywhere the water can go anymore. Most of the fields around where I live are now little lakes and there are some houses that are stocking up on sandbags again :( . Obviously concerned for all humans involved in the floods but also concerned for all the wildlife and livestock that are affected - just hope they all managed to find higher ground somewhere :(

Frank (my brother) is on his way to the UK again to bring his son back and just hope he has a better journey today than he had on the 23rd when he got stuck on the ferry outside Dover for nearly 12 hours

Hope everyone stays safe and dry - and Ton, Ally and Vic; please please please stop hogging that sunshine and send some over here!

Morning :)
It was dreadful all night here, gale blowing and rain hammering at the windows. It's bin day so the bags were blown all over the road.
Bit of a respite at the moment, Bb and Minnie got out without getting rained on; it's getting darker again now though.
Bb's going out to work for a bit, we haven't heard anything about the route he has to take so hopefully it's ok, it's not far.
I shan't be doing much and dinner's already made (crustless quiche to use the single cream I got for 10p!, frozen the other day).

Happy birthday to Mrs E and meriad I do hope your brother gets here much easier this time.
Good luck Kaz (((((x)))))
Stay safe
Di
