Yesterday I went to Lidl to do my big shop - I spent just over £60. I had about 6 big bags full of stuff. I spent around £15 on alcohol.
Today I went to Sainsburys after dropping L at school. I spent just over £70 and had 2 big bags and one drinks bag. I spent just over £20 on alcohol.
Sainsburys is soooooo expensive!
I have the last couple of presents to wrap at the weekend the girls tablets will be wrapped on Christmas Eve as I want to charge them up one last time. I have two more presents to deliver tonight to my friend.
My fridge is full to bursting. Much of it is for a meal I am cooking tomorrow. 12 of us in total though the 6 children will eat in the lounge in front of the tv. They are having pizza, garlic bread, chocolate pudding and sweets!
We will be having pate with a green salad, onion marmalade and melba toast (I love melba toast - haven't done it for years), followed by roast leg of lamb with boulangere potatoes (still deciding whether to cook the lamb on top of the potatoes or to do the two separately), creamed parsnips, carrots and cabbage followed by a tiramasu.
I don't need anything else from the shops other than milk which I will pick up on Monday from the local general stores.
I've had to put the bubbly in the shed - I could only get two bottles in!
