Its really windy

Its horrible out - really, really windy. I've just come back from walking L to her friends to go to the panto with Guides.

Mick still isn't home. He isn't happy. He left at 5am to get to Southampton for just after 9am as whatever he was doing the part for it was being delivered before 10am. His intention was to do the job and then drive home.

I rang him at 2pm - part still not been delivered. I rang him about 30 minutes ago - part just been delivered.

I'm hoping that he's going to stay the night - he hasn't decided yet. Its raining where he is and the wind is bad and he's been up since 4.30am. He hasn't any accommodation sorted yet - though there must be some Travelodges around.

The weather forecast certainly doesn't look good, Debih.

It might be better is Mick stays the night in Southampton. Motoring in adverse weather is always better
in daytime rather than after dark. I do hope he will be alright.

It's awful here too. I really hope that Mick will stay over night, what with the weather conditions and lack of sleep.

Not heard back from him yet so I'm guessing he's still working. I shall try him again at 8

I hope Mick stays put Debih xxxx

It's raining and windy ere too, very stormy! The dogs created at their usual walk time so poor Mick ventured out! Ten minutes later he was back, legs soaked to the skin through his jeans (he had his high viz jacket on so dry on top) and two very very wet little dogs. Very hyper too, it has taken them a good half an hour to settle since  :?

I'm sure Mick will take the decision to find accommodation down south and not try to return tonight.

It's certainly windy here in Birmingham, and rainy too ....

Terrible weather here too. We have been in all day. Fire is roaring and I've been doing some sewing :)

Just started all of a sudden, it's absolutely hammering it down with rain as I type.

And the lights have been flickering as well ....

Just spoken to him.

He's still working. He spent all day sleeping in his van, waiting for the part to turn up.
