Mine looked half-dead the day after I brought it home From Tesco, with a label saying it would last till 6th January It looks a bit better now it's lost half (or more) of its leaves and a whole branch 'Last' until 6th Jan is obviously loose terminology

Mine are fine from Lidl. On the windowsill when the sun shines, watered twice a week and sprayed quite often.

I'm really not keen on them at all.
I buy them as gifts for people sometimes but I'd never have one in the house (but then again, I don't have any house plants. I just have cut flowers).

Mine last year lasted for months!
This year's looks a little droopy, but I might move it onto the kitchen windowsill where it's cooler
Not been given any poinsettias yet this year, but we've usually managed to nurture the ones we've received in the past reasonably well .....
We finally lost our old flowering Christmas cactus last year, which was a shame.

The last few years mine have been lovely, and carried on for ages. Same house, same position, same treatment but this one almost died straight away, and it wasn't a particularly cold day either

I have one but it's a very realistic fake one which I got from Ikea a couple of years ago - simple to take care of!
