exercise bike....

does anyone here own an exercise bike?
looking for any tips on buying one.
I have seen a few on amazon but cheaper on ebay (from businesses), I have decided i want to buy a cheapish exercise bike which can fold up if needed. I have a real road bike but want something to build up my stamina and lose weight and then by summer time me and Amy can go big bike rides. (and I will be able to keep up with her lol)
I used to go to the gym 3 times a week for a long time until about May this year then my placements were full time and now working Monday - Friday. I have no time whatsoever to go to the gym as I work when Amy is at school, then she is with me, I am very much a 'single' parent - I know some people who are single parents whose parents/family have their kids a lot - mine done. Im on my own
So the plan is exercise bike, 30mins a night and I will shift the weight, and mentally I will feel better as I believe exercise does help with state of mind, for me anyway! (been thinking about it for about 2 months and now decided to do it)
I digress................so any tips or do you think as long as it is a bike and I can cycle does it really matter? I have seen one for £60/70 with free postage and looks ok.
