Morning everyone. :)

Bright here and I‘m enjoying bacon and sausage butties.

Having a day with Don today. We‘re about to go into town, check into the hotel and then go Christmas shopping.

Lunch then off for a walk round Sunlit Park and Moonlit Park...photo time!

Back to town and shall enjoy whatever the rest of the day brings. :P

Have a nice day. x

morning :)

oh my, yesterday it was kaz talking about bacon and now its you!! I am buying bacon for next weekend lol!

am sat eating cheese on toast and a cup of redbush tea - my new favourite!

well it is very miserable out this morning and dark :( we are going to get ready soon and brave going into Edinburgh, will get the bus from the park and ride, and 'might' take Amy on the big wheel, even though the prices are ridiculous, feel like I can't not take her on it - Winter Wonderland is all part of Christmas in Edinburgh - after shopping that is ;)

hope you all have a nice day

xxx

Morning everyone

A gorgeous morning and I wish I could have some bacon - can't find it anywhere at the moment, will just have to sniff the air

Not sure what we'll be doing today, might drag Grumpy out for a walk, but his knees are rather sore (age and all the years kneeling down, working  ) so maybe not.

Hope you all have a good day and the weather doesn't put you off doing what you want to do xx

Morning all.

Busy here. I've been up and out over the moors with Millie, picking greenery ready for my wreath making on Tuesday evening. Then home to bottle my blackberry wine (made from a kit from Wilkos). Just about to start on the veg for dinner and then I must get on with my limoncello or it will never be ready for Boxing Day.

S is off out to the Christmas market again, meeting up with a couple of her new friends. Mick and I are going for a wander around later this afternoon so we can pick her up and bring her home. Need to nip to the inlaws as well as they have a war time cookery book for S to look at to chose a recipe for her history project.

L is waiting for her friend L to arrive. They are also working on their history project. Today they are making a small coffin and putting a skeleton in it. Then putting it in a larger box ready to cover over with compost (which I have to collect later from the inlaws). In the week they are going to put a layer of plaster of paris over it and paint it black with white lines on it. They then plan to excavate it in their history lesson - Richard III. :D :D They wanted to build a bakers shop, set it on fire and film it for the Great Fire of London but that didn't fall into the time zone they are supposed to be doing.

Afternoon :D
Had to change that as I went off to look after the washing and the morning disappeared :o :)

Well, today's plans all changed. Bb's gone to visit eldest :) :D
Which meant I had to get up, shower and get into town sharpish for shopping. Except I couldn't - High street closed for annual Santa dash for the hospice, so loads of cars not knowing where to go
I couldn't then have parked near enough to Tesco to carry stuff so had to drive nearly back home and then to Waitrose instead and try to dash round to get back for Bb to leave at 11.

I did however get a huuuuge bargain which has solved what to have for Christmas dinner :) On the butchers counter, rib of Aberdeen Angus beef reduced from £17.99 p kg to £7.49 p kg :D One rib - just under a kilo, £6.89 - now sitting nicely in the freezer :x :P
We've had a few slight showers but the sun's out now, it's rather nice out there :)
No bacon here either, I was going to get some at Tesco but can't afford it from Waitrose

Love the sound of the history project Debih :D
Hope everyone's enjoying their day
Di
