I am getting an ipad

I am beyond excited. Mick has bought me on for Christmas.
I had hoped that he would but today he came home from work to see me on the Apple website looking at them. He knows that I have been saving up for one from my adoption money (and that every time I have enough an unexpected bill comes in and it ends up being spent on that) and it obviously rattled his cage as he knows that I recently got the last 3 months money through for the adoption panels.
He pondered for a while and then said - please tell me that you haven't just ordered yourself an ipad as I have bought you one for Christmas.
I don't know if it is a standard or a mini but I don't care.
But it does now leave me rather stumped as to what to buy him for Christmas. We have an agreement that if we don't want anything inparticular we don't buy anything just for the sake of buying. So all I have bought him so far is a Monsters University dvd (he loved Monsters Inc) and a thermometer for the multi fuel stove. I have no idea what else to get him.
I won't feel bad if I don't get him much - last year he got his Kindle Fire and I got some Walnut Whips as there was nothing that I particularly wanted. And he has had his very expensive Barbour jacket that he bought for £250 when we were in the Lake District back in October.
Any ideas of what to buy him would be welcomed!
