I'm back.

The day was tests, do this, do that. I had blood taken and bike rides and time on a treadmill. There was time under infra-red lamps and time on a TENS type machinine (unconclusive). Basically they were looking at my movement. I had a low-dose MRI scan but the X-rays I had earlier in the year were "archived" so only the report was available.
The upshot is that I am now a patient in the Spinal Injuries Unit, which will start on Jan 10th 2013.
They do not want to do invasive surgery, unless it is absolutely necessary, and hope to address the problem by other means. I am hapy with that.
The reason I didn't come back to VV is that my Sis is only a few mins from the hospital and the buses had stopped when the tests were over. I stayed there last night, but am home now.
