I'm so not in the mood for this coming weekend - that dreaded hen party :(

I know I'll have a good time once I get there but I think the start of the weekend is what is totally putting me off. Quite a few of the girls are going down tonight already but I and some others can only go for the one night so only getting there in time for the 'fun' activity tomorrow at 11am - drawing a Life model. Seriously - and I'm probably such a party pooper - but the last thing I want to be doing at that time on a Saturday morning (or any time really) is be drawing a naked man!!!!!

I've got to be on a train at about 8.30 to get to Brighton by 10h30 so we can get to the house in time. That is generally even too early for me - but I have the feeling I'm going to be buying a bottle or two (small ones) of bubbly to drink on the train; that may help get me through the morning!

I hate saying this, as the bride is a friend of mine, but roll on Sunday morning 10am when I'll be on my way back home again!

Once you get there, I'm sure you'll have a great time. :D

To be quite honest, it's not my thing either. ;)

Well I know how you feel as at times I have not really been in the mood for an event, but once there really enjoyed myself.

I don't blame you Ria - I wouldn't be looking forward to it either.

I actually find it quite a strange activity for a hen weekend. Surely life drawing is a serious hobby - does a professional life model really want a group of giggling women standing around drawing him for a fun activity. I find it quite demeaning for the model tbh!

Could you perhaps accidentally miss that train and catch the next one - so you miss the drawing but are there for the rest of it.

 That is very odd - hope he doesn't get too cold  ;)

Ria I think the whole weekend sounds a bit 'off' - so I think it's just a question of gritting your teeth hun and getting on with it :? I hope it goes better than you think it will (((((((((((((((((Ria)))))))))))))))))))))

Maybe the male nude model will wear a Posing Pouch? To say to Saundra that she needn't look at it if she's embarrassed. Just draw from memory

It all sounds too organised to me, and that would put me off.

Hens/Stags should be spontaneous......... skipping stones down the beach, seing who can make a tenner last longest at the amusements, sort of thing.

I hope it goes better than it sounds Ria, you never know.
