Morning Ally, have a lovely weekend :D :D :D

Morning everyone, another early start thanks to the woofs  ;) It's cold but dry here, I'm hoping Mick will finish work early so we can go to the Victorian Market down at the Docks. I go every year, usually with my MIL but she's busy today with her voluntary work. We could go tomorrow, but it will be incredibly crowded then as it's very popular ;) There is always a stall selling local specialist cider, so that might encourage him :-P ;) If not I'll wander down on my own, as its always worth a visit 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xxxx

Morning all.

Shopping for me today - food shopping first and then off to finish the xmas shopping. I also need to get something for Mick as it is his birthday on Sunday. I'm not getting him much as he bought a very expensive coat when we were in the Lake District but I want to get him a couple of bits. I have already got him a couple of dvd's so just need to look for something else.

And thats about it for today. I might venture out for a drink with friends this evening but then again, I might have a bath and sit in front of the fire.

Hope you get to the market Kaz - we have a Victorian market on the first full weekend of December in the town nearerst us. It has become huge and is a real event now. We always go, though the girls now go with friends rather than boring old mum and dad. They usually do their xmas shopping there - we end up with some right weird and wonderful things.

Morning all

Ally, can I come with you and Don please - your weekend sounds like so much more fun than mine!

Saunda; glad K had a good day at college and Lilly is enjoying nursery :)

Kaz; that Victorian market sounds amazing. Is it a once a year event only? I must see if they have one locally to me at some point.

everyone else, enjoy the day - Ton; take it easy with the HW and Debih; don't spend too much money

Yes it's annual now, and grows every year! :) There are loads and loads of stalls, all arranged round the Waterways Museum, and the side of the Victoria Basin, so all outside! They have actors dressed in costume and acting out little scenarios like pickpockets and peelers lol, men on stilts, Victorian ladies and gents in costume wandering, and if you speak to them they will stay in character 8-)

The stalls are very good, great quality stuff and fab food and drink 8-) I hope Mick can come as it's not as much fun on your own, but I'll still go if he can't

Morning :)
Phew, managed to get to the hospital lovely and early and the same nurse as last time got the blood out no trouble :)
Then gave me strict instructions to get home, eat something and sit doing nothing for at least an hour, I like her :D
So I stopped to get rolls and had a bacon buttie :D

Gorgeous day here, bright and cold and not the horrid wind of yesterday.
Kaz the markets sounds lovely, hope you can both go.
Saundra glad Lily's mum did ok.
Ally have a fab weekend :)
Debih have a nice relax x
Loz they have a real ice rink at Winchester too, I'd be very tempted ;)
Ton enjoy your day off from the sun :D
Meriad really hope your weekend's more fun than expected x
And hope everyone has a good day :)

Morning all :D

Glad you got in/out of the hospital in good time and it went without trouble Di. Like the sound of a bacon buttie, just the thing to sit and relax with xxx

Enjoy your weekend break Ally, sounds lovely.

Like the sound of the Victorian Market kaz, hope you find some nice things to buy.

Having a lazy morning. E's got an appointment with the GP this afternoon to discuss his BP and cholesterol results. Expect we'll detour into M&S on the way home to get veggies for the weekend.

Hope you all have a good day :D
