We've walked and walked and walked!!
The Emirates Air Line across the Thames by the Dome is good, very high but very good - you can see for miles! After that we walked from London Bridge station right along the South Bank - we popped into the Tate Modern but it was full of shufflers so didn't even get as far as the first gallery before getting bored and getting out - and there was a Christmas Market further along the bank, so it was packed and a very slow walk. We crossed the river at Westminster. Blimey, the bridge is full of Romanian con artists fleecing tourists with a cup and ball trick, every few yards there's one and tourists were handing over £20 notes We then walked up to Oxford St where I got my ear re-pierced. I'd had three holes in the one but two had closed up a long time ago and I'd been intending getting them re-done for a few years.
Today we've walked miles again, with a few stops for coffee and cake We went into St Paul's too, I'd never been in before and it wasn't fully open with it being Sunday and services taking place but what an amazing building!!
