Note to self: remember the dog!!

I wouldn't know where to start on how mad this week has been.
But I've loved it.
I met Ollie yesterday and he really is lovely. I was shown where his food, lead, treats, poo bags etc were and then I (along with Colin) took him for a walk.
How often does a dog pee for goodness sake!
It's amazing as Ollie is totally blind but knew exactly where he was going and 'led' me round his usual route.
I felt very comfortable immediately with him so that's good.
Today we're going to Paco's for his annual cook-a-thon of the biggest 'stew' ever.
Included in the many ingredients are chickpeas, black pudding and chorizo..it always tastes fab.
We're going to meet up with loads of our friends so a mental day awaits.
Ollie will be walked late afternoon and tonight by his drunken adoptive parents.
Tomorrow we're going to a friends 50th birthday BBQ so we must remember to pop down and do our doggy duties.
I keep saying to Don..we mustn't forget about the dog.
I said it last night as we went to bed.
I said it first thing this morning.
It's only 10 o'clock and I've just said it again.
Big responsibility this looking after a dog business.
