My favourite place for a spot of lunch whilst in town (Crimbo shopping ) had run out of toasted teacakes

Apparently the cold rainy weather had caused a run on them this morning - the girl behind the counter said mine wasn't the first disappointed face this lunchtime

I had red lentil and sundried tomato soup instead - probably a lot healthier, but I walked into town in the rain and boy was I looking forward to that teacake

Ooh I love a teacake Lots of butter melting on it...yum yum

If a teacake's what you really, really want then nothing else will do, will it?

No!!!! Exactly! The soup was really delicious but it wasn't what I fancied

I sulked quietly, all the way through my cryptic crossword

Put them on your shopping list I always have one in a cafe or a scone yummy

Oh nooo I daren't buy them, I'd scoff the lot! Just the one when I'm out - now and again - makes a real treat

Dunno what tracked was supposed to spell but yes I am on the Choccy Orange wagon from now until Christmas

Oh that's reminded me that I meant to buy some crumpets for supper
