oops!

I have a new hearing aid. Not brilliant but it does have a telecoil so that I can use the Hearing Loop systems in shops etc. Today I thought I would try it out in Sainsburys. Discretely switched the button on my HA, so as not to draw attention to myself...knocked it out and it fell on the floor  A passing assistant picked it up for me
I put it in my pocket then and never tried it out. I'm passed being embarrassed now

Oh dear

Shame you didn't get to try it out though, it's bound to take up less space in your handbag than that trumpet ;)

Aww Loz, what a shame, I hope you get another chance to try it soon - with superglue ;)

Actually I did try it out at the vet's on Friday and it worked :D I was very happy as it blocked out the surrounding noise and the voice of the receptionist was sent directly to my HA. It's not a lot but it actually felt I was getting a little bit back of something precious :D

Oh gosh yes, I can (almost) imagine!

I overheard someone the other day saying they could only manage if there was a loop, it's only really since you've been telling us about it that I've understood better :)

Well done, Loz ..... I'm sure you'll find it all less and less intrusive as you get used to it .....
