yesterday we were in Cyprus. 27c and as dry as a bone.
Today we're back and it certainly isn't as dry as a bone; and it certainly ain't 27c, either!

I reserve my democratic right to shiver! ;)

Cyprus could do with some rain; it hasn't rained there for months.

What a shock to the system.
It reminds me of when we came back from Florida in early November and found that the car doors were frozen shut at Manchester Airport. When we eventually got in I sat and cried

Aw Jo, reminds me of when we got back from Lanzarote! We left as the temp got to 41 degrees, then landed at Birmingham in the middle of the night where it was 14 degrees :o

I did Ton, thanks. :)
Jo - that did make me smile!
The lady in charge of the dining room told me that in September one day hit 46c.

I'm a member of a target shooting club and two members have something in common.
1. They were both in the armed forces.
2. They were both sent to Cyprus, one as a national serviceman in the 50's, the other as a territorial in the early 70's.
3. Both of them were shot at!
