quick question...

Postby pollR78 » 29 Oct 2013, 19:30

ok, Amy came home with a piece of paper - she draws an C.....mas picture and it is made into a card.....they normally do it in class....

so my dilema, I showed her a santa picture from google and then drew it and she asked me to draw it on her paper - this is fine, but would i be in breach of copyright?

not that I think anyone would bother BUT i am worried............i didn't trace it or print it out, i just copied freehand from the picture on the laptop.............

argh?!

anyone???

When I think of the number of pictures of Santa we used to draw and have the children draw in school, I shouldn't think it would infringe any copyright. I assume it was just one of the typical sort of Santas. In any case, doesn't copyright have a time limit?

It's fine Poll, it's only direct copies that you're in trouble for :)
