Morning Saundra :) Morning all :)

Why does all the good weather tend to be midweek? Looks like a very wet and stormy forecast for the weekend

Not sure what the plans are for the weekend - Becks will be home again with her washing, apparently it is cheaper/easier to bring it home and do it than use the machines there  Not sure I quite believe that, I think it's the home cooking really ;)

Have a good day everyone :)

Good morning from a wet and windy Lancashire. Going shopping this morning. Getting enough in for the week end so that we don't have to go out till Monday.

Morning :)
Ally you will all need badges 'My liver survived the week' :D

Dark, wet and windy here too, although not raining just now.
Tomorrow doesn't look too bad for down here, Sunday lots of wet, and then this big storm arriving overnight into Monday. We're in the band for the strongest winds I think, amber alert. No idea what we're supposed to do, not having any hatches to batten - I've put the garden chairs in the shed, will that do? :? :D

Bits and pieces of h-word and stuff for me I guess, maybe make a cake :)
Hope everyone has a good day, and good journey for Debih

Wet and wetter here  am not complaining, as we do nweed wet stuff sometimes. Should all be over by tonight and we're back to sunshine tomorrow :kick:

Cleaning the house before Bente comes over tonight - I said 6.00 ish, so Grumpy said he'll open the gates at 4.00  (we're taking bets as to what time she arrives - she's always always early - and another friend might drag me out for a walk with her 2 pooches, along the Ria Formosa. Not sure if I want to go if it's chucking it down though

Morning all, been a bit absent this week as it's been busy around here. My cousin from England came to stay on Tuesday and she hosted a lunch for female cousins on Wednesday which I wasn't bothered about but ended up really enjoying it. On Wednesday evening she and I went through a box of bits and pieces belonging to her Mum who died in August. Then yesterday she wanted to scatter her mother's ashes in the sea so we helped her choose a spot here in Howth - she's not able for much walking on uneven surfaces so she and I watched while Mr. Osc picked a good place beside the pier and did the scattering for her, followed by a lovely red and cream rose. She was very happy that it was done in a low key manner without any great fuss. She went home later in the day. Then I had Michael yesterday afternoon.

It's a nice morning here after lots of rain last night and still surprisingly mild. I'm off to meet a friend for lunch, my friend who lives in Spain will be 60 at the weekend and her children treated her to her flight home. I didn't know what to get her, so I've decided on a Ryanair voucher towards another flight home whenever she wants, or even to somewhere else if that's what she would prefer. Her partner died last December and she is still struggling to get used to life on her own. Have a good day everyone :)
