Today's the day!!!!!

Jacob and Conor are 21!

We're going over to mum and dad's at 10 this morning for the grand opening of presents then having breakfast by the beach.

As we've all got work/college/uni this afternoon the celebrations will begin big time tomorrow night when Craig gets here!

Wishing Poll a super graduation day..well done again!

Mum & Dad are collecting us at 1130 then off to get my sister before going into Edinburgh, eek!

I'm waiting for the boiler man to come and service my boiler and then later I am finally meeting an online friend in the flesh!!! Not from VV, but have known her for the best part of 10 years!!! Mick has done a pastel drawing for her to give as a gift, so she's coming to Gloucester to collect it - we're meeting up for coffee this morning

Morning all. It's raining again here - surprise surprise!

Work for me this morning with a morning full of meetings. Then off to school to interview for the mid day supervisor (dinner lady) position. I don't hold out much hope of actually taking any of them on. We had 6 replies - none of which were particularly brilliant. We are interviewing 3 - two young girls (who I think will actually be too young and inexperienced) and one mum of a child at school (which I am not keen on as because of confidentiality issues). I refuse to appoint for the sake of it so if we have to readvertise then so be it.

Stormy and rainy night, but brighter now. Hope the rain holds off for a bit. I might tootle off to Salisbury and get some new curtains for the living room. Apart from that, nothing else planned.

Ally & Poll hope you both have just the most amazing day . Kaz, hope you have a lovely time with your online friend - wow 10 years is a long time to know someone online only and then finally get to meet them in person

usual day at the office for me.... after a rather delayed train journey to work. Total signal failure in New Malden (near Surbiton) which is one of the main tracks coming into Waterloo meant our train was diverted via Staines which took over an hour compared to the usual half hour. But here we are and now crossing fingers they sort the problem by the time I try and get home

After last night's spectacular storm we had more rain but now it's bright with a really strong wind so have taken a chance with washing too

Good afternoon all!
It's lovely here today - sunny and quite mild, although it was wet very first thing.

I have a poorly Joe at home today, he's got a nasty sore throat so is lying on the sofa in the downstairs living room, wrapped in his duvet and watching TV - thank goodness for my Dad's old telly! We watched Ferris Bueller on Netflix earlier
