What's for dinner?

Postby Kaz » 22 Oct 2013, 16:24

I bought a huge fresh cauliflower from the greengrocer/florist shop on my way to my MIL's :D Cauliflower cheese came to mind, as we have lots of cheese needing using  I keep forgetting our cheesemonster aka Becky no longer lives here, so am buying too much

Have made a massive cauli cheese now, there will be leftovers

Leftovers welcome Kaz, we love cauliflower cheese :)
We do still have it on its own, but also sometimes have it á la Jamie, as macaroni cauliflower cheese :)

Tonight we're having veggie overdose :D
Veggie cottage pie - lentils, onion, celery, carrot, mixed veg from a frozen bag, topped with white & sweet potato mash (and maybe cheese), served with broccoli & cabbage :D

Ps Re the cheese - grate and freeze if you still have too much, then you can use it straight from the freezer :)

Please don't ever put m******i and cheese in the same sentence without a warning first :o ;)

We are having leftover lamb from Sunday, cut up quite small, topped with a little gravy, topped with crushed cooked potatoes and that all topped with a mixture of breadcrumbs, cheese and mixed herbs. Popped in the oven until toasty. Fresh veg to serve. So simple yet so scrummy :D
