Good Morning Sunday

A place to chat with friends, old and new

Good Morning Sunday

Postby tonicha » 20 Oct 2013, 06:18

Morning everyone

Still dark  just beginning to get light and if the sunset last night was anything to go by, we should be having a good morning, at least :D

Up early, as the wood man is coming soon. I always make coffee and we have a chat (all in Portuguese, which is not easy, as he speaks sooo quickly and differently from the bods down here - he's from further inland and they speak differently.

Might go dfor a walk later, depends on the weather. We're expecting a slightly cooler and damper week

Hope you all have a good day xx

Still in bed - listening to the rain.

No plans other than clean our bedroom and visit my parents.

L had a friend stay last night and I promised them a trip to the ice cream parlour on our way to take her home.

Morning :)
All ready for whatever it throws at you now then Ton :D

We've had all sorts already - heavyish rain, then clearer and bright, now clouded over again and I think raining. Was hoping to get some gardening done in between showers, but not sure if the gaps will be big enough. And the local radio just said there's been a mini-twister at Hayling Island so perhaps it's a bit of a long shot.

It's months since we had a proper roast, and I really fancy one. I have the veg but not the meat, so might even pay Waitrose prices for a small piece of beef (won't buy Tesco joints of beef they're rubbish).

Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday
Di

Morning everyone :)

Ton, you sound ready for anything :D :D

Di a roast sounds good, go for it ;)

Debih it rained here in the night, but has stopped now thankfully 8-)

We are having a lie-in before I cook an early lunch so Mick can drive H back. When I went to the Literature Festival last week I signed up for the Times deal where you get the online newspaper access and other perks, plus vouchers for the Sunday Times every week - for £6 per month it's a really good deal :) Plus I got persuaded into it by a very charming young sales chap and I am such a sucker for a pretty face...... :-P Except now of course it means I have to go and collect my paper every Sunday if I want a 'hard' copy - and I like lazy Sundays :-P    I will enjoy the paper though, once I get it ;)

Have a nice Sunday everyone :) xxx

Done a run and swim. :D :D

Picking mum and dad up and bringing them over for the day.
We're getting pollo asados (take away spit roast chickens..lush :D ) and chips. I'll do a big salad and loads of crusty bread. :D
I've made an apple crumble for dessert. :D

Then we'll watch the Blues game. :D :D

Looking forward to hearing how the boys got on in Granada.

Morning all :D

Heavy rain here overnight, but looking quite bright at the moment.

E's just gone round for the papers and then a leisurely brekkie/lunch is planned. We're having a roast dinner too, but not til this evening. I bought two M&S rotisserie chickens when they were on the meal deal and shoved one in the freezer so that's what we'll have today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

morning all :)

The sun is shining here today, yay!

Not much planned, I am going to tidy up, clean windows and do my ironing and Amy has some 'decopage' i think its called to do, she has a mask and some different kinds of paper and glue, I also bought her a box set which has little dogs and paper/glue etc, all from the 'range' , she is looking forward to doing that!

Just to motivate myself to move now!

Oh and got a friend coming for coffee this evening, she was my mentor in my last placement and we got on really well so have kept in touch :) Have kept in touch with a few people from that placement, I was there so long and just felt like part of the team so its nice to keep in touch with them all :)

Hope you all have a good day
