Rant for the morning

This time of year it really gets my back up why so many drivers think it's OK to drive without lights on when 'regular' commuting time has that inbetweeny light, ie not light but not dark. Just because they can see, doesn't mean they can be seen!!!! And usually it's people with darker colour cars as well.

And never mind the cyclists who haven't got lights on their bike and they cycle on unlit country roads in the dark

there, rant over

Should be obligatory for cyclists as well.

Don't get me started! :x :x :x

The minimum lighting on a moving vehicle in low-light conditions should be dipped headlights; and it would not be too difficult to fit a sensor to take the choice away from the nut behind the wheel.

Agreed. Also agreed it's not only cars, it's also cyclists.

IMO, it should be compulsory for cyclists to wear hi-viz jackets.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that gets fed up. I think a lot of the newer cars do have the auto sensors but still... It really doesn't take much logic and common sense to think about driving conditions and adjusting according to them when required.
