The Best Holiday ....
Posted: 15 Oct 2013, 10:57I have a former work colleague I keep in touch with. He married a Romanian lass and twice a year they jet over to Bucharest for 10 days or so to see her relations. He's just got back from the latest jaunt. Also, he can get a bit excitable ...
So I asked him on the phone: "How did your holiday go?"
"IT WAS FINE, IT WAS GREAT, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST HOLIDAY WE'VE EVER HAD - APART FROM THE EARTHQUAKE !!"
(Apparently they had a 5.5 magnitude quake one night, woke them up but no damage - they do get them a fair bit over there, I understand.)
