What's your weather been like today

Ally and Tonicha please don't answer or I may have to slap you with a wet kipper.

We have had the most horrific few days. It started on Thursday - it was really windy and the rain has been torrential. It has hardly let up at all. Saturday morning was dry but still very windy.

Today has been a rain bouncing off the road sort of day. I nipped to Sainsburys earlier on and only walked a few yards across the car park and my trousers were stuck to me.

Mick has just rung to say that he will pick the girls up from school as the rain is bouncing off the road again. There are lots of flash floods.

It is a better forecast for tomorrow but then more of the same on Wednesday.

We have just had our first bit of rain and there are black clouds now. The last few days it has been dull mostly with a breeze, but this morning we had sunshine briefly. It hasn't been bad at all here really. I actually pegged out some washing yesterday and got it dry.

It's really, really black here now and the rain looks as though someone has turned a tap on. It's so heavy!

Some dull, watery sunshine this morning but also some pretty heavy showers.

Now it's dry, grey, cold and miserable.

Apart from a few hours last night it'd rained non-stop from Friday night until early this afternoon.

Starts of horrible every day but we get sunshine at times very cold miserable at the moment

Quite dark and rainy today and for the first time, really quite cold.

It has been very changeable for the past few days and today was no different. We had wind and scudding clouds, but when the sun came out it was quite warm.

I went into Leeds and then got persisted on for my efforts. Such is the British weather.
