Mum has just texted me and I've been sitting here laughing out loud since!

Dad strolls up to Mercadona every day for bits and bobs that mum's asked him to get.

He likes to try and speak a little of the lingo but today got it spectacularly wrong!

He went to the meat counter and instead of asking for pollo (chicken) he asked for polla (c*ck)!!

Sorry dad but i'm still giggling here.

A slip of the tongue perhaps? That last letter is very critical I went once to buy a bottle of printer ink which is tinta and said tinto instead. They produced a bottle of red wine.
