Good Morning Monday

Postby Kaz » 14 Oct 2013, 07:28

Signing in early, as once Aunty Rose is up and about I won't get much time online :)

It 's lovely to have her here, and she seems pretty well which is great 8-) The weather doesn't look brilliant, there is a fair bit of rain about - I wanted to get a food shop today but not sure if she will want to walk a mile in the rain........will see how the weather goes later, maybe it will clear a bit 8-) If not I'll do an online order for tomorrow......

Have a good Monday everyone :) xx

Morning :)
A lovely bright one here; the temperature's gone down although still 20.5 in here so no heating as yet.
The day of gym ball-sitting and pills have helped my back, and I'm about to have a soak in a hot bath to help relax it.
MRI scan is tomorrow so will keep taking the painkillers, probably use the tens machine as well and hope for the best.
Need to get the dried washing and ironing sorted out today, other than that not much planned.

Enjoy your aunty R Kaz, and enjoy your sunshine Ally :)
Hope everyone has a good day
Di

Morning everyone

A late start for us - Grumpy still in bed   he'll have to get up soon, otherwise the sheets will be whipped from underneath him

A mixed bag, sky wise. Lots of blue with white fluffy things floating around 8-)

Off to a neighbours later, we need to borrow his wheelbarrow, as we have our winter wood coming on Sunday.

Apart from that, a quiet day, I think :D

Have a good day everyon and hope your back feels even better soon Di xx

Morning chums. Dull day here, but D is on his way home so all is sunny :kick:
Have a good day with Aunty Rose Kaz.
Di, a good idea to do whatever you can to stay relaxed and pain free today in readiness for the MRI. How long will it take? It took 20 minutes to do my head when they were checking me after my hearing loss.
Ally and Ton enjoy the sunshine...will grumpy push you in the barrow Ton?
Enjoy your planting Saundra :D
Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all :D

It's piddling down with rain here.

Glad you've been able to relax your back Di, definitely a good idea to take it easy today ready for the MRI tomorrow xxx

We had a lovely weekend. Spent Saturday catching up with my niece and her 5 children. She emigrated to Oz 23yrs ago (she was 16) and we hadn't seen each other since then. My two daughters plus 5 of our grandchildren joined us so you can imagine how manic it was with 10 children. Luckily it stayed dry so they were able to run around outside, just as well really as the excitement levels were pretty high  Even luckier they all got on really well and had a whale of a time playing together. Youngest daughter and her three boys stayed overnight with us so another busy day yesterday.

Planning a very quiet lazy day today, no surprise there then

Hope you all have a good day :D

How lovely Jen - no wonder you had breakfast out! :D

Loz I should imagine up to half an hour, it's the whole spine. It took quite a while when it was just a shoulder :?
Fortunately I don't have a big problem with the actual machine/process, it's the lying immobile on my back that's the issue. It was agony for the bone scan but with that one, as the m/c moves down, you're allowed to move the bits it's gone past, so at least there was some relief. More painkillers etc should do the trick :)

It's a shame they can't sedate you a little Di. Just enough to make the process less uncomfortable physically.

Afternoon all - it's a wet one here today! It started to brighten up as I was leaving the gym but it was just starting to rain as I got home :?

We had an early start this morning as Tom had to be at school for 6.45am as he's on a trip to the Houses Of Parliament with his A-level Law class, that should be really interesting. I think to keep costs down they've combined it with the art class going to London too so Tom's group have some free time while waiting for the other group to finish what they're doing. They've been told to make sure they have extra money for the tube and I think some shopping is planned

Have a lovely time with Aunty Rose, Kaz - glad she's well :)
