The squirrels ....

Postby TheOstrich » 11 Oct 2013, 10:12

There was a whole gang of them on the lawn this morning, burying acorns. Ruddy things ....

Just short of the whole works - picks, shovels, hard hats, the lot ....

Waiting for the road cones and the JCB to be delivered now ....

Mind you, I think they've just knocked off for a tea-break ! :D

Is anyone else plagued with them like we are ??

We don't get any! Probably because they've got the woods just at the back of us.

We are surrounded by woods Jo but still get loads of squirrels.

They don't dig up the garden but they do like the bird table.

The dog hates them. You only have to whisper the word squirrel and her ears prick up and she charges to the window to see if she can see them. She has managed to catch a couple when we have been out in the woods.

By the way Ossie - I have a very good recipe for squirrel.........................

We have oaks, acorns, squirrels and....... magpies.

I think the magpies have convinced the squirrels to do their hoarding in the copse rather than on the green or risk having them raided. :) :) :)
