Morning. Brrr it's chilly.

I'm going riding (I might don my long johns ) this morning and will hunt sloes at the same time.

Gas man coming this afternoon to do the annual boiler service so I shall be pottering.

Debih enjoy your ride, what a gorgeous day for it. Glad you're able to do what you want, you needed a bit of time to yourself.

I'm feeling hugely relieved. I was supposed to be going to the lymphoedema clinic for 2pm; I'd already postponed it from last Thursday because I couldn't face the drive 2 days running, but really wasn't looking forward to doing it again today.
Having had to do all the driving, etc for 4 1/2 weeks, with all the various appointments Bb and I have both had, as well as everyday stuff, my back's not getting a chance to recover.
Anyway, I've just phoned them, they were very sympathetic, have cancelled today's appt and will send a letter for a new one. If it's for the day after another appt I'll just cancel it again! The arm isn't bad, it's not going to matter much if it's put off a while - more important at the moment to look after my back
Not sure what I'll be doing now

It's gorgeous sunshine here too but chilly - real autumn weather

Another day doggy sitting but Becks is coming this evening, which will be lovely - I'll have cabin fever by then, two days in a row in the house not going anywhere or speaking to anyone, I'm used to getting out and about most days Looking forward to Philippa Gregory tomorrow

Aunty Rose is coming on Sunday for a few days, which will be nice - could do with the weather being dry though so we can get out and about a bit, fingers crossed XX

A ferlippin' gorgeous morning again - not a cloud in sight, no wind, bliss

A pootling day for us again, I managed to get all the ironing done yesterday, only to do more washing so I'll do the little bit that needs doing, then probably a bit of cleaning sticky fingerprints off white glossy kitchen cupboatds

And a sit in the garden with a book

Morning chums Lovely day here, bright blue sky and sunshine. Good dog walking weather. Need to go to the hospital first though for some finger physio. My joint is doing very well, it just isn't straightening up fully, so I need some different exercises.
This afternoon I shall continue with my trousers. A wine satin with chiffon overlay (for tango, not dog walking). Hemming the chiffon is time consuming , but satisfying.
Glad you can relax today. Looking after your back is important.
debih, I don't gather sloe berries, but I had a look when I was out with Jasper and you are right. Not many about. Good luck.

Expecting a client around 10.30ish, she's not the most reliable timekeeper and then need to have a whiz round the house as youngest daughter and boys will be here at the weekend. Might just as well be tidy to start with
