There are times you've just got to love FB

Postby meriad » 08 Oct 2013, 20:09

I was having a lovely long chat with my sister in Germany and - as you do - I was asking about her family. My eldest nephew last week moved in with his girlfriend which is really exciting; and it seems that the eldest daughter 'may' have a boyfriend and the youngest daughter apparently also met someone, but turns out that there apparently is something rather odd about him so she's not having any more contact etc (apparently a long story - typical teen :D ).

Anyway my sister mentioned the names of the two boys concerned so curious George me quickly went onto FB to have a 'look' at the lads and of course had to fill my sister in with as much detail as I could over the phone. My sister is such a techno novice it's quite amazing how she copes

For for things like being a curious aunt there is no better thing than facebook (and obviously having a good enough relationship with the various nieces and nephews that they have me as a friend)

LOL It's so useful isn't it? I keep my Mom in touch with family gossip from Facebook :-P

I also like to check up on Tom and Joe's friends. It's easy when they're at primary school and you see who their friends (and their parents!) are when you collect them but once they hit high school you just hear names...so I hear a name and off to Facebook and Twitter I go! ;)
