A good trade / barter

Postby meriad » 04 Oct 2013, 10:36

I have a tumble drier that I hardly ever ever use - probably max 4 or 5 days a year. I'm trying to sort a few things at home and could really do with the space where the drier is now. My brother was going to take it as their drier was on the blink but he managed to repair it so doesn't want it anymore. However, the lady that cuts my hair (I go to her home and she charges only £10) was looking to buy one and Karl (my brother) mentioned to her (when she went there to cut all their hair) that I was looking to 'get rid' of mine.

She came over last night to have a look at it she's very glad to take it. But because the machine is quite old (about 9 years or so now), but hardly used I really didn't know how much to sell it for so we traded: 1 x tumble drier in exchange for 4 free hair cuts

I get my space, she's not out of pocket so win win :D
