Morning all. Its misty here and quite chilly, even though good weather was forecast.

Mornings are hard here at the moment - three weeks in and L has decided that she doesn't like the new school. It was brewing last week - she kept saying she wants to go back to primary school. Last night and this morning she said she didn't want to go to school. No tears yet but I don't think they are far away. I went through it all with S. Its such a big jump for them - little tiny primary school with 56 children in to secondary school. It doesn't help that she has a long walk each way. I can take her in a morning but don't want to get into the routine of doing it every morning so am just doing it a couple of times a week.

Work for me until lunchtime, then into school to sort the agenda out for the next governors meeting then home to potter.

Morning Ally, Debih and everyone

A gloriously sunny morning 8-) :kick: with just a few fluffy white things in the sky 8-)

It's difficult for them, isn't it Debih. Hope she settles soon xx

Off to Tavira soon, to finish off that little job then it's up to Bente's as she's coming down tomorrow, for an unspecified time

Looking forward to seeing Tom Kerridge on tele tonight :kick:

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning :)
Very dull again here but ever so warm.

Minnie and I had a lovely walk, met a new dog - with a man who's just moved back after living in Spain for 6 years (and his wife, but she wasn't there). He was walking down the lane looking for somewhere he could let Lucy off the lead so he now knows all about the fields, the park and the marshes :)
Just having a coffee after doing the first of Bb's eye drops for the day - it's the last day of lots of them, they go right down to only two kinds, twice a day from tomorrow which will be lovely :D
Some h-wordy stuff but otherwise a bit of a day off for me.
Hope everyone has a good day
Di

Morning everyone :) Feeling a bit tired today - am sure it's just the gloomy weather, rather than the huuuge meal and lots of wine yesterday    Just pottering and a bit of housework today I think

Morning Saundra :)

Ally have a lovely day looking at planes :D

Ton I hope your grandson is better xxxxxx

Di a new friend for Minnie! :D :D 8-) Pepper loves the two rough coated JRTs who walk on our field, but is not so keen on the big lab who always wants to sniff her bottom  Pepper being a laydee always sits down with a bump when he comes bounding over :D    Am glad things are improving for Bry, with the drops and stuff (((x)))

Loz it's the same here, gloomy but warm xx

Have a lovely day everyone xxxx :)

Morning all :D

Hope L settles soon debih, changing schools can be so difficult for some children. My eldest daughter struggled each time especially the move to secondary school.

We're popping into town shortly. Need to get bits for mother plus another new handbag. She goes through them so rapidly, not surprising really given the things she stuffs into them

Hope you all have a good day :D

Oooh lovely Saundra :D :D

Jen I have tons of handbags, thanks to my last couple of jobs, but seem to over-use the same old ones   xxxx

Debih rereading my last post I left you out, and I was sure I'd replied and wished S well  So sorry, and I hope she settles soon. If it is any consolation Becky loved Primary, hated secondary, but loved college! Same with Chris now I come to think of it, and H is only just settling now at his secondary school, in year 9  (((((((((x)))))))))
