Morning all. We were also promised lovely weather this weekend and its really miserable out there.

I DO have a headache. I am getting such a lightweight. I had two glasses of wine last night - one large and one small and I felt fine. This morning I have a banging headache!!!

Mick has gone to work this morning and if I ever manage to get dressed I am going to take the dog out and walk down to our friends hotel and have a see if the damsons are ripe. I'm not scrumping honest - she said I could. I took some last week but they were still a little sour so I used them to make damson vodka. I need them sweeter to make jam.

The girls and I are going riding this afternoon and then I intend to laze around.

S is supposed to be going to sleep at a friends house - she lives further down in the village - but it is dependent on her doing her homework so I need to get her up shortly to get it done. Yr 9 has been a shock to her - she thought they got a lot of homework in Yr 8!!!

morning all,

Sorry not been around much this week, the days are just whizzing by!

Had a day off yesterday as done my hours over 3 days ;) and met a uni friend for coffee which was lovely. Oh then I booked a B&B in Blackpool for me and Amy, going next month for 4 nights, a friend has been to the B&B so gave me the number as they aren't online. Amy is very excited, she has never been to Blackpool so we have been planning what we are going to do!! :D :D :D :kick:

Today Amy has her swimming lesson at 1130, and then we will grab a quick lunch and then off to visit my other friend who had her baby the other week, so some move lovely baby cuddles :D :D

Will probably pop to mum & dads to visit them for a bit then home to chill out.

The weather appears to be dry but not sure of the temp, had a few wet days but yesterday it dried up and was quite pleasant.

Have a good day all

Poll xx

Morning all :D

It's grey and overcast here too, so much for the promised sunshine :?

We're being extremely lazy today, only just properly surfaced, haven't even had brekkie yet

Mother's washing is still sat in bags in the bath, really must tackle it this weekend. Want to get it all nice and clean and in the wardrobe, then I can forget it until next spring.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all - well, it was when I started typing! :D

Grey here too, but quite warm.
Been on the go for hours, not got enough done but going to just sit for a little while :)

Minnie and I had a lovely walk over the fields, and a chat with a particularly nice lady and dog; she knows Minnie so wanted to know all about Bb's absence.
Then I had to go into town - after 12 days of someone being here every hour of the day, yesterday the post office tried to deliver a parcel while we were out  And we needed dog food. The town was a nightmare, I'd thought it was early enough but the M&S car park was stuffed, the great big car park was stuffed...had to park at Waitrose which meant carrying the package and the dog food rather along way :(

Anyway, got back to a cup of decent coffee and then Bb was allowed to start his birthday :D
He got the new Star Trek film from youngest so is very happy with that (he only hinted a LOT ;) ), and choccies from eldest which is always good :)
I bought him a few bits including the first series of Breaking Bad, since we don't have Sky we haven't seen it and I thought we should :D
Later his mum's coming for tea and cake (coffee & walnut) - which I still have to make
For dinner tonight he requested sweet & sour chicken, so we're having that with egg fried rice (which I'll make) with prawn crackers and spring rolls (which I won't) :D

I'm starving - didn't have time for breakfast - so I'm going to have something to eat then make a cake :D
Hope everyone's having a good day
Di
