..... murrrdah !

Master O is making his first ever trip north of the border today, to Glasgow, to impart some software training to folk at a regional branch the company he works for has up there.

He asked me what is was like. (My last visit there was something like 1974.)

I made him watch STV's documentary "25 Years of Taggart" on YouTube last night .....

And told him to bring back a box of Scottish shortbreads for Mrs O ..... :D

The first time I saw a haggis, I didn't know whether to eat it or kick it.

Then I wished I'd kicked it.

I'd sooner have good old English faggots and peas.

He hasn't got back yet, it was a two day trip. :D

I think the depot he is visiting is on a trading estate near the Provan Hall (Provanhall ?) which is a historic 15th century house, and the Glasgow Fort shopping centre on the east side of the city. Not exactly Maryhill .....
