People dropping litter is one of my top three hates!!

Today in the lovely village of Mijas Pueblo, after a smashing day there, before driving off we were just having a swig of water when I noticed a man and his wife in the car next to us finishing off what I presume was a snack.

I couldn't believe my eyes when the man wound down his window and casually dropped out litter.

The flippin cheek!!!!

As I'm opening my door Don was like Alison, nooooo.....too late!I'm off.

I politely tap the window and this muppet just gawps at me.
He rolls his window down and I ask him if he's on holiday here and indeed he is.

I then ask if he's had a nice day in Mijas and does he think it's a pretty town.

Oh yes, Mrs Muppet pipes up. It's a lovely place.

I then hand him his dropped litter and say "well it won't be for long with litterbug idiots like you about"

Their faces were an absolute picture.

Why why why do people think it's ok to just dump their litter.

Oh well done that woman!!!!!

It's a pet hate of mine as well. I hate 'Metro days' on the bus and collect as many of the discard ones up as I can and place them back in the tray as I get off.

I'm the same. It stems from the way my parents brought me up.

I often pick up litter and put it in a bin when out dog-walking.

I've even been known to pick up other dog's droppings.

Well done you Ally - it's a pet hate of mine as well and I just don't understand why people think it's acceptable to drop their litter. It really isn't that hard to keep it with you until you find a bin, or is it?

And one that really get's my back up is the constant dropping of cigarette butts and spitting out of chewing gum

One of my pet hates are litter all over the floor. I am sure they don't do this at home.
