Morning dear hearts :D Lovely day here, my favourite sort, bright and sunny with just a tiny nip in the air to keep things fresh.
A day at the hospital for me  Hand physio appointment, then blood test this morning. Lunch, then the assessment ffor my special hearing aid and that takes about 2 hours  Thanks for your best wishes chums x
Thoughts for debih's dad and anyone else who needs them x
Wishing everyone a super dooper sunny day, especially the holiday folks :D

Morning all. Lovely morning here.

Work for me all day today (although the boss is away so I may be practising my crochet whilst making my phone calls - I am randomly profiling our tenants this week. Very boring and pointless). The girls are off to the in laws.

Thanks for asking about Dad Ali. Not really sure how he is doing. His eye is still bruised from the op and he still has no sight (although he can hardly open his eye at the moment). But the pain from the op has gone. He is off to the hospital today (not that one that did the op but his usual eye consultant - it was a different one that did the op as he specialised in the membrane behind the eye - he goes back to see him on 2 Sept) so we may know a little more later on. I am confused as to how it works - you would assume that if someone removes the membrane that is stopping you from seeing, then as soon as it is moved you would be able to see! I will let you know later.

Good luck at the hospital Loz and make sure you take a good book for all the waiting around!
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

morning all,

Last day of the school holidays for Amy today, so we are about to get ready and get the bus into Edinburgh, takes around 40mins (20 in car lol!), will have a wander around The Royal Mile as lots of street acts on with it being the Edinburgh Festival/Fringe. We will then go to the Castle as members of Historic Scotland so no charge to get in ;) Then we will get some lunch, probably a McDonalds as its cheap (not the best I know), and then off to Next, Amy saw a jacket/top yesterday she really wanted and I said no  but think I will get her it, it is lovely and I saw some nice tops on next website last night that would do for my work as I don't think I will have to wear uniform!

Hope its good news today Debih, I suppose there may be swelling/bruising behind the eye which is still causing him not to see, so maybe once that all settles down ?! not sure how it works either, eyes aren't my thing lol!

So that is our day, off to get ready and hope it stays dry!

Have a good day all

Morning all, it's a lovely day here, and Mr. Osc has already gone out to play golf. I'm shortly going for a walk, and then it will be mostly h/work for the rest of the day - although I might manage some time sitting in the sunshine if it stays around. Hope all our holidaymakers are having a good time! Loz, good luck today, really really hope that it is positive news for you. Debih, it would be so great for your Dad if he got some sight back in the eye, fingers crossed that that will happen. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning everyone

Hot 8-) but a rather pleasant breeze ,so feeling not quite so hot.

Bestest of luck Loz, sorry I missed you earlier, but will be sending gert hugs for today xxx and for your dad too Debih xx

Grumpy has his grumpy head on and is royally peeing me off - so I'm staying out of his way before I brain him :kick: :kick:

Been down to the village, actually bought an English paper, as I was going to have a coffee, but far to hot. Breakfast sat in the shade in the back garden, 2 machine loads up the 3 flights of stairs

Now I'm going to sit in the shade and read the paper :D

Have a good day everyone xx

Good afternoon all! It's warm and humid here, and quite cloudy now after a sunny start.
I went to the gym before going to do some shopping. We've had a new Tesco Express open near to the gym today so I nipped into there for a loaf. It'll be useful as it'll save me running over to the other side of town to Asda, thankfully it's on our side of the gym. It's a shame though that it's not nearer to here. This village has expanded so much over the last few years yet all we have is a filthy little 'corner' shop and a McColls which doesn't carry much stock.

Hope all goes well Loz, and for your Dad too Debbie!

I won't judge you Poll, after all, I'm spending the night in one tomorrow night while waiting for the first train home
