he was amazing. I was in Pets at Home and they girl had him out on the floor as she fed him live crickets. There were quite a few people watching, and she said does anyone want to hold him. I was there like shot, sitting on the floor with breardie on my lap, on my shoulder, he was brilliant. I would love one :kick: :kick:

I'm quite happy to see them, but could never imagine one as a pet, shouldn't they be out in the wild? :?

You are a strange one, most would run a mile.

When I was stationed in Cyprus we always made sure to have one or two chit-chats in the room on fly catching duties. They were very friendly and tame.

Shouldn't rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, so on and so forth?

Provided you give them everything they need and allow them free ranging time they are happy.

I love reptiles Frank, snakes, lizards, tortoises, anything

Yes MM I guess they should, I don't especially like seeing those animals in cages/hutches either, or birds in cages.
But lizards and such, they don't seem to me to give much back...maybe I just don't understand their appeal. But some of them grow ever so big, and still they're in those glass things, it just doesn't seem right to me :?

We have families of geckos and lizards in our garden - front and back. The "little crocodiles" were out playing in the back garden earlier. And they are really warm, when they land on me

We used to go to Tenerife a lot and I used to love to see the lizards on the streets, not sure what kind they were but some were pretty large!
We saw quite a lot near to the hotel in Florida too but they were only tiny.
