Lovely, and not disparaging it, but just wondering...so you just go for a walk, holding onto these llamas...so what about it is better than just seeing a bunch of llamas in a field, and stopping to say hello? :?

That looks fun Shell 8-) :D :D :D

I love llamas but they can be a bit 'feisty'  Perhaps that is why they do it like this Di, they have got harnesses on ;)

No they are not feisty Kaz, only with each other around food and lady llamas. They are calm most of the time. You are told to show them who is boss from the offset and not to let them eat the grass and hedgerow or to run ahead or lag behind or they will do it the whole trek. I was glad I had had a Newfoundland so I had handled something large before, although not that large  because I was firm and Grappa was great. Charlie's walker wasn't and Charlie spent the whole trek bending down eating the grass, chewing the hedges and generally being a naughty llama.

They have harnesses on so you can lead them, not because they are feisty Kaz.

Di I suppose its the same as saying to Ally, why are you climbing than mountain, can't you just stand and look at it?
