Bit sad about this

Postby miasmum » 10 Dec 2012, 20:56

I have just been over to the Daily Mail boards. I rarely post over there, but pop onto the TV and Showbiz ones to have a look at the SCD thread. I used to check in with my old mate Kalia, but I can't anymore (see below).

Because I was reading an article in the health pages I went in via the health boards and had a look at the cancer boards. I saw Ally's post which was brilliant, but then I spotted a post from Melinda 55. I remember her she used to post a lot on cafe. She has posted to say she has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. That was on the 26th November and not one reply. I felt so sad I was going to reply, but I can't as it has lost my password and I can't re-register as it tells me I am all ready registered with that email address.

Can anyone go over and invite her over here or at least see if she has any other support? I really felt for her

That is sad...

Maybe Ally could get in touch with her on there, or could you create another email address (Gmail or Hotmail) to use to register with?

I can't get in any more Jo or I would've replied.

Added to say..a couple of months ago (when they done the big change) someone had left a rather disparaging remark about the posters on the cancer board.

I was so incensed I spent hours..and I mean hours..repeatedly trying to log in.

Eventually I got there!

I have since tried to gain entry to make a couple of posts as it looks terrible there now when someone posts and no one answers.

Very sad. :|

How awful - to post such sad news and not one single reply in two weeks :|

I would reckon what Jo has suggested might be the best way forward Shell xxxx

Presumably other people are having the same problems with logging in after they changed it all :(

I'm trying to register. If I can do it I'll send her a message as I remember her from my time there.

If you can't remember your password, just type in your email address as usual. then click
on the "can't remember password" box.

They will then send you an email giving you a new password. You can later change the
password to something easier to remember if you so wish.
