The Eagles... for Gal and Fugi.

After the Beach Boys they are my favourite band.

I have just watched the History of the Eagles on BBC4 and did not realise how important Joe Walsh and Tim B Schmit were to the band. Up front it was always Glen, Don (Henley) and Randy.

What a band! What music!

Amazing aren't they WM? The original band was Glenn, Don, Randy (swoon) and Bernie. Bernie left first and replaced by Don Felder and then Darling Randy replaced by Tim. My favourite line up will always be the original four but I love Joe Walsh. I don't watch and listen to the Eagles past the day that Randy (did I say he was Hot) left.

This is a young Randy giving it some in 1973.

I did catch a bit of it last night but only the second part, so no Randy

The third part was that sweet BBC 1973 performance when it was just the four original Eagles. When Randy looked healthy and happy and did his 'Certain Kind of Fool' and that adorable shoulder shrugging to get the rhythm going (Rhythm and Randy in the same sentence is doing me no good at all)

'Heart's on Fire' 1981
