Clifford a family friend dug his grave in the family plot. Amazing absolutely perfect.
We laid him to rest beneath the Great Oak Tree. The vet is also a preacher, wonderful young man sensitive and caring, I held Barney to the end and as he drifted he raised his head and kissed my cheek.
If I say that I couldn't cry when my husband died the fact is hard to believe, I loved him with all my heart I think he was guiding me knowing what lay ahead the wedding the funeral and the memorial service . But with Barney the flood gates opened and I think the grief I held in previously all came out and am weeping for them both...
He will be a hard act to follow
