Morning all :)
Have merged the two now :)

Nice start here but the forecasters are laying it on very thick about how bad it's going to be later, 'the sky's falling in' doesn't come close  :D Perhaps not a barbie for tonight then.
I suppose I'd better take them at their word and go out for a few bits of shopping early...the route to the next town and Lidl is on little winding roads, neither Bb nor I are too keen on it in heavy rain. I'm not at all a nervous driver, it's all the eejits I'm wary of ;)
Youngest had a good time in Corfu, spent most of the time in the pool, and brought us some nice little presents :)
Have a good day all, hope no-one's plans are too badly affected by the storms
Di

Ps Ooh have a good time Loz :) Whereabouts is it?

Morning everyone :)

We are right on the edge of the weather warning for heavy rainfall - we might get it, or we might not  At the moment it is bright but a bit cloudy.......We do need rain that's for sure, but not the heavy sudden stuff that is threatened as it causes flash flooding :?

We need a few bits from various places today - I need some single bed bedding, both for our holiday in Devon and then for B to take to uni. Strangely she doesn't fancy any of the Chelsea bedding we currently have for the only single bed in the house ;) Sainsbury's basics are pretty good for bedding so we'll go there.

If it doesn't pour down we need to have a practice run with the awning I bought last week for the garden, I got a pop-up one for less than half price in Argos - we'll need to put it up again next Friday for B's birthday BBQ :? Mick put a light up on the side of the garage that illuminates the decking and most of the garden nicely, and I got some of those solar lights that you stick into the ground :)

Apart from that it's a quiet weekend on the cards here, no Harry as he's spending the first half of the school hols with his dad, then the second half with us......

Loz enjoy your tango :) Di you would think the end of the world was coming, according to the forecasters  ;)

Have a lovely Saturday everyone xxxxxxx

Morning All,

Bright blue sky here and sunshine, so washing on the line and the rest to go on.

Waiting for grandson to awake, then brekkie and have to take the car to the garage, it operates with a key card and its been playing up lately, so a new key card to be ordered :( more expense I could do without.

Fancy something spicy for dinner tonight, so shopping at some stage as well.

Take care all ,have a great day.

Sue
