That's me today.

So far this morning I have had 5 text messages off 5 different people all asking me questions about the street party - what time does it start, do I need to take food, do we need to take seats, what time does it end..............

I have nothing to do with the street party. I am not an organiser. I am just going to turn up like everyone else.

So why do people assume that I can give them the answers!!! It is not hard to find out about - it is being organised by the owner of the hotel and a few other villagers so just ring the hotel and ask.

I do know the answers because they are on the invitation that was sent out ages ago to every household in the village. I have also seen the posters that are up all around the village. And I have seen the information on the hotels website. And I got an email from the hotel that gets sent out to most of the village on a monthly basis. Therefore I knew what time to turn up, if I needed to take a chair, if I need to take food, what time it ends because I pay attention to the information around me.

I am being mean and have not answered any of the text messages - I shall just pretend I have not seen them.
