I've been reading in here but have Post-Menopausal-Obsession-Syndrome! 8-) Luther does it for me once a week but since I saw The History of the Eagles on BBC4 a few weeks ago I am obsessed with my favourite band of the seventies. Especially with Randy Meisner, the cute, shy bass player with the high voice! I loved him then but now I can't get enough of him and the Eagles. So I bought the new boxed set 'History of the Eagles' and it has three DVD discs and a book. It is a thing of beautifulness. One of the discs is the live Hotel California tour of 1977 (when Randy left the band after a night of two women and a bottle of vodka) and I am wearing it out repeat playing 'Take it to the Limit' and 'One of These Nights' and adoring the wonderfulness of Randy.

I am YouTubing every available clip of the Eagles and have even joined an American Eagles fan forum!! I am officially an Eagles Groupie! They were so American! Check shirts, Levi jeans, long hair. At their live concerts they'd get their roadies to hand out buttons to good looking girls in the audience which meant an invite backstage for fun! If Bucket Lists existed in the seventies one of mine would have been 'Give me a button!'

Sadly Randy Meisner is unrecognisable now as he hasn't aged well whereas the other Eagles still look hot and blokey and they are all in their sixties.

Lol Fugi I bet you're driving everyone mad :D
Can't say I've ever been obsessed but one of my first cds was The Best of the Eagles, to replace the cassette - one of those I couldn't be without :)

I think my PMOS is manifesting as an obsession with the garden  :? I have never really been interested before, but this year in our new house I am weeding, planting, planning, oiling garden furniture, buying barbecues and chimineas, and garden ornaments - I bought a solar frog yesterday, don't ask!!!!

We also have tomatoes and cucumbers and peppers on the go in D's greenhouse, which I regularly 'visit' 8-)

Whoda thunk it???

The Beach Boys had faded away when along came the Eagles - the ideal replacement. What a band, what a sound! So much better than all that disco drivel. :-P :-P :-P

Five part harmonies WM! At their best for me with My Randy, Joe Walsh and Don Felder on guitars with Glenn and Don. If I carry on like this I'll know enough about the Eagles to do a Mastermind! I like Randy's replacement, Timothy B. Schmit, but when I watch him he looks like a startled Cliff Richard.

I'm that hooked I've been watching YouTube tutorials on the bass guitar just to see what Randy was plucking! Pure brilliantness ;)

Gardening is a very healthy obsession Kaz! But it ain't the Eagles :kick:

I love the Eagles too. I saw them at Wembley about 15 years ago and they were absolutely amazing.
