Make do and mend!

I spent most of yesterday making a bench cushion and 4 seat pads for the garden. I had a poke around in my fabric stash and found some old Laura Ashley cotton fabric that had been curtains. I had just the right amount needed, but no cushion pads. I then remembered an old but clean duvet I had. Cut that up and it was perfect. I also had some buttons that I had got free with a craft magazine the other month, to hold the filling and fabric together and give it a proper finished look.
I feel all noble now

Well done Loz, I bet it looks lovely :)
It is a bit addictive isn't it, you find the more you do the more you want to do :)

*Wonders what Loz could do with two old washing up liquid bottles, some empty loo roll tubes and some sticky back plastic* :D :D 8-)

I accidentally threw out our cushions for the garden furniture earlier this year but still had the covers as I had taken them off to wash. So Mr. Osc divided up some old pillows to make into cushions and put into the covers - worked really well, and money saved :D
