He'd shoved it into one of those silly side pockets that I didn't even realise he had

Fortunately, the remote doesn't always work - well, it certainly won't now

He should check his pockets - I don't normally, as I got fed up with finding all sorts of nasties when he was working

Oh I agree, it's an early lesson isn't it - if you don't empty your pockets it's your problem not my fault, definitely
