Putting stuff back in

At last stuff is going back in the dining room.
There is still one last, final bit of painting to do - the window sill needs to be glossed but that is Micks job (as apparently I am absolutely rubbish at glossing) so he can get that done tonight.
I have spent hours scrubbing the floor (see Lets have a moan thread) and now the table is in place and for the first time in almost a year it has all 6 chairs back round it.
S has a bucket style chair from Ikea in her bedroom and I have dragged that downstairs to sit in a corner (for no reason other than that my mum has a single futon chair thing that she no longer wants and will be great in S's room). The chair has a navy blue cover on it although underneath the original chair is a pale lemon colour. I thought I would be able to clean it up but I forgot how the cat had scratched the arm to pieces so it looks like the blue cover is staying for now.
L has a little rocking chair that used to be Mick's great grandmas so that will be coming back downstairs shortly. It has been shoved in S's room for the past few months, used to throw her cadet uniform on.
I need Mick to help me tomorrow to put the pictures back up and carry the boxes of books back in the house so I can put things back on shelves.
Then I have the horrible job of sorting out all the cupboards - but that can be next weekends job (preferably when the children aren't around so I can get rid of loads of their stuff).
