Race for Life...
Posted: 09 Jun 2013, 18:24
I hope you don't mind me posting this, me and my daughter Amy (who is 8 on Tuesday) are taking part in Race for Life, next Sunday 16th June, in Edinburgh and aiming to raise as much as we can for Cancer Research UK.
I have lost 3 grandparents to this disease, and a few close family friends.....on the positive side, my uncle was treated for throat cancer 4-5years ago and is still disease free and my aunt has only in the last few weeks been told she is in remission from an aggressive form of cancer which involved her having full hysterectomy and lymph node removal, chemo and radiotherapy.
SO to raise as much means a lot to us....
if you would like to help us, you can do so online at http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/paularodger2 OR text ARPR78 followed by amount, ie ARPR78 £1 to 70070.
thanks for reading....
