Well I intend to make the most of this fabulous weather as I'm back to work tomorrow. I'll be walking into town to the Post Office, and will probably walk round the Docks too as it's lovely in the sun, then home to sit in the garden Bit of housework to do first.......

Morning all. Its gorgeous here - and forecast to stay all week. Hurrah.
I am at work this morning but should be finished at lunchtime and the plan is to come home and paint - again! I can't believe how long it is taking to paint one room!! I suppose it doesn't help that I have chosen to paint magnolia on to what were quite dark orange walls so it has taken five coats of paint to properly cover that. And we have built in shelves to either side of the chimney breast, all of which needed glossing.
So I now have two walls completely finished, one wall needing one more coat and one wall needing two more coats. All the glossing is done apart from two skirting boards and Mick has said that he will do them whilst I am out tonight. Then it is just the window sill (I always leave it til last in case something gets put on it) to gloss and the fireplace that needs repainting black. Then I can get the floor cleaned and start putting stuff back in. Its a shame to put things back in it - it feels lovely and spacious at the moment!
I'm out this evening with my chair of governors hat on - information evening about the role of a governor according to Ofsted. Yawn.
