I've been busy painting. I'm just taking a break now before I finish the first coat of emulsion on the third wall and then start with some more glossing. I have to keep switching from emulsion to glossing to try and keep the boredom at bay!

We will be having gammon, salad and new potatoes when I get round to doing it. Fortunately the girls are having dinner at a friends so there is no rush to get it sorted - Mick will just have to wait until later (much later as I am on a roll with the decorating).

Debih I'm like you with decorating; I quite enjoy it, and it's fine to begin with then as it goes on and on I get so fed up - not just the actual painting but the brush-cleaning  :D

Remember all those chicken legs? We're still eating them :D
Youngest will be here, so 4 have been defrosted, they're sitting in a marinade from a maple syrup booklet. It's got that, wholegrain mustard, cider vinegar, Worcester sauce, chilli sauce.
They just might be a little bit hotter than intended, as I used the West Indian hot pepper sauce - but they've got the skin on so they can take that off if they don't like it :D
And potato salad with celery and spring onion, plus other salady stuff :)

Well I've been out enjoying the sunshine for most of the day, so we've had mixed green salad (peppery leaves and spinach leaves) in an olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing, with quiche for Mick and Becks and hard boiled egg for me, delish!!! I am now seriously contemplating breaking open a box of Magnums from the garage freezer for a treat - they were half price in Sainsbury's the other day so I stocked up a bit 8-)

Today I bumped my car into a building(dont ask) and then came home and broke my specks so I'm forgetting the diet and just waiting on the local Indian's delivering a lamb bhoona with rice- the diet will resume tomorrow!
