Postby Ally » 29 May 2013, 13:57

...was delicious. :D :D

We sat outside (in the shade..it's flippin hot today :o ) right by the cathedral. :D

I had ensalada Rusa (potato salad) which I love. :D

2 cheese & ham empanadas (they're like a pasty) :D

And my absolute favourite..gambas pil pil.
A crock pot of sizzling prawns cooked in a little olive oil, teeny bits of garlic and chilli flakes. :D :D

D.E.licious. :D :D

We're having a Thai takeaway tonight...I'm such a pig.

I had soup and bread. Very apt for the weather at the moment.

The prawns sound lovely.

I had a cinnamon bagel, felt the need for something warm.

Had a Subway with Grandson. The last time I used a Subway was exactly that. A ready made sandwich bar at railway stations. Now they build your 'sandwich' with a 'Footer' or a 'Six Inch' and no sliced bread but a long thing.

So you choose your bread and choice of fillings from pictures on the wall, toasted or not to be, then you move along as they pile on cue/toms/lettuce/onions/mayo/relish until you get to the end and then you pay. It was exhausting. All those questions! With or without this, with or without that

Give me a sandwich please although I had a tuna, mayo and cucumber 'Footer' and it was lovely.

LOL I used to use Subway a lot when I worked in Egham as it was just across the road - it's useful to be able to choose all the fillings I think 8-)

I had a chicken and mayo roll as I forgot to take my salad :?

We usually head for Subway if we're out anywhere, I love to be able to choose whatever I want and it can be a healthier option :)
